Written by DJ Gary B Has the era of wack ass emcees and wack ass beats finally come to a close? It's gonna be a problem for all things wack if The Sniper Squad DJ's have anything to say about it. The Sniper Squad DJ Coalition have come out with guns blazing to declare war on all wack emcees and producers who bring that unnecessary pain to the listeners ears with the filtered down version of what they call hip hop. The coalition headed by Bonita “Adorable P” Payton recently had their “In The Scope” conference call with artists: Von Sway www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=105810056106617 www.myspace.com/vonswayonline http://twitter.com/vonswayonline 21Sickness http://www.myspace.com/dboy2dubx Knesesary www.myspace.com/knes www.myspace.com/kneezybeatz Ladi G www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1807845021&ref=mf www.myspace.com/ladigishiphop K-Le Da Vincci www.facebook.com/kle.davincci?ref=nf http://www.twitter.com/KDaVincci It's about to be on. We here at Femmixx are definitely gonna keep our eyes and ears open to find out what happens next with these artists and what they gonna bring to the table in this thing we call hip hop. Once again femmixx.com is putting the call out for the female emcees and producers who are out there, where you at? We wanna hear from you -- we wanna know what ya'll up to and what ya'll got in the works for this 2010. The music industry has certainly changed since the last time we checked and it seems that if you gotta get a deal you gotta do it for yourself, as artists are not making the kind of money that they used to back in the day. The only way to really make some money is going the independent route and cutting out the middle man all together. If you run your own independent label kudos to you and yeah we wanna hear from you as well -- don't worry we're not gonna ask you how much you’re making nor are we gonna put all your business out there, but we wanna hear how you’re holding it down in these times of uncertainty. We're not gonna make this editorial long, but we are gonna say thanks to everyone who supported us as we’re on our way up and when others have come and gone we're still here carving out our little niche in this industry and being relevant to you the viewer within this ever changing landscape of the music industry. |
